Hair Bear Bunch

Ok, so I missed the mark by two years, technically The Hair Bear bunch was '71-'72...

Captain Fathom

If you've never had the pleasure of watching one of the worst cartoons ever made you should watch at least one episode.  It's some good crap.

Legend of Zelda

Jon Snow

This is about as far as I could take this one given the week I've had...

Game Of Thrones

Marvel Now: X-Men by Michael Powell

Team Satomi for the win!

IMHO the best original series to come from Cartoon Network previous to its current era. Love the series, the director commentary you can hear the passion in the creative teams voices, and the execution with the look and the story telling and the soundtrack treatment. Great stuff. Happy to have an excuse to do up a proper fan art finaly! Anywho! Heres my contribution to this week!

Adventure Time!

Trying to get myself to be more disciplined and post more art across all the communities I belong to.  Really missed posting to CAA.  Here's my Cartoon Network entry!

Aqua Teen Hunger Force

I already had the liquid pencil out so I went ahead and used that for this one too.  "It's for the kids, they love pizza.....and squalor."

Tarzan

This is an experiment. I used liquid pencil on this to see how it would turn out.  Here's a link to the liquid pencil that I used http://www.jerrysartarama.com/discount-art-supplies/pencils-leads-and-powders/derivan-liquid-pencil-and-sets.htm  The part I like best about it is that I scanned it in and didn't have to do anything else, this looks pretty much like what's actually on the paper. Also, I enjoyed sketching out a man in a mini skirt. Yay Tarzan!

Starlord By: Aaron Walls

Been so behind lately catching up a bit. Here's my Guardians of the Galaxy piece. Loved the redesign for the Annihilation events

Marvel Now: Spider-Man

I may have taken a loose interpretation on the theme, but it's all I could think of when I read "Marvel Now".  I really do think to myself, what now? Quick sketch on newsprint.

New 52: Power Girl

I wish I had more time for this, this quick sketch was fun and I really like Power Girl's new costume, even though it still doesn't make much sense.

In getting in on this theme this week I finaly got the chance to explore the New 52 redesigns DC has been doing, while a lot seem to tack on a lot of unnecessary stuff that make drawing the characters a headache for the artists, I think a good handful of them are pretty good improvements/ nice designs. I like how this design for Black Canary seems like they gave her arm enhancements to make her a more powerful hand-to-hand fighter, as she relies on that most of the time when not using her sonic scream or what not. This is pretty cool. It actualy gives me ideas on other thingies o' mine but anywho! There she blows. Experimented with a few diff techniques on this one. Pretty happy with it. Video of this piece start to fin is on Livestream - http://livestre.am/4nqyj

New 52: Nightwing by Michael Powell

Of all the costume redesigns of the New 52, I think I was most ok with this one.

Nikki Gold

Have I ever told you how much I hate making comics on the computer? Well, I do, but I gave it another shot with Nikki Gold. I figured her hot head would go perfect with the mood this would put me in.
