Aliens

This is always the Aliens I picture...

Spawn

He's modern, right? Plus I've never drawn him before and just sort of felt like it.

Judge Dredd by Jess Kirby

I chose him for my bronze age. I also have him holding a mystery bag. Wonder what's in it.

poison ivy and catwoman by rob summers

Lois Lane by Jess Kirby

I haven't done one of these in a long time, plus I've been dying to parody this painting.

This Week's Theme: The Silver Age

Golden Age Batman by Michael Powell

The Old Witch by Jess Kirby

My absolute favourite comics from the golden age are the horror stories. I love the Old Witch because she was always talking smack about the Crypt-Keeper and the Vault-Keeper. I didn't want to screw this one up so I stuck with what I know, pen & ink on recycled Bristol.

Deadman by Michael Powell

Ghosts by Jess Kirby

I'd like to title this one, AWKWARD!  Richie Rich meets Casper the ghost. Gouache on recycled watercolour paper.
