The Comic Art Alliance is an art club created by Jess Kirby and Michael Powell. Every week we have a different art prompt, and anyone can participate. Simply email us at comicartalliance@gmail.com, and we will add you as an author. Then you can start posting your art to the blog. Entries can be in any medium, full finished drawings or sketches. All we ask is that it be on topic. Well, what are you waiting for? Let's draw!

The 60s by Jess Kirby
This is what I imagine the 60s were like. Debutantes fighting off stinky hippies. Not really, but I thought it was kinda funny. Inger Stevens was the inspiration for the feisty deb and Luke Perry was the inspiration for the hippy. No, really. The episode of 90210 when Brenda found the diary and they all role played....I've said too much.
