Mr Incredible by Eryck Webb

My fav character from The Incredibles. The whole bit with him being a normal dad, at that cubicle job and taking crap from that tiny weasel of a boss was just awesome stuff. When you knew he was this awesome butt-kicking hero that didn't have to take any of that crap, and was just doing it for his family...

Violet Incredible by Jess Kirby

I'm not a big fan of the Incredibles so I took the liberty to goof around in photoshop on this one.

Eastwood by Eryck Webb

Went for an 'Eastwood'-esque drawing, kind of going for the general vibe of his character rather than an accurate rendition of his outfit/ likeness. Kinda like if there was a generic animated version that wasn't meant to look exactly like Clint Eastwood... yet it does...

Next Week's Topic: The Incredibles

Posting Period: August 28-September 3

The Man With no Name by Mike Moran

I love this scene in Fistful of Dollars. The whole film is a western re-make of Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo but it does it justice.

This is right after he tells the guy to get 3 coffins ready and then runs into 4 scumbags hence the need for the extra coffins.

Posting Period: August 21-27

Captain Caveman - Austin "UltraPunch" Miller

Capt. and the Teen Angels was one of my favorites growing up, I had a tough time deciding between drawing him or Hong Kong Phooey. Hope you guys like it! - Austin "UltraPunch" Miller

Jonny Quest by Mike Moran

My favorite Hanna Barbara show is Jonny Quest. Doug Wildey was an amazing artist and although the animation is sometimes crude the designs and artwork of the show are still top of the line.

My favorite characters are Race and Bandit. :-)

Mendoza by Clayton Johnston

This is Mendoza from The Mysterious Cities of Gold. I loved this cartoon when I was a kid. It was a collaboration of French and Japanese animators, and aired on Nickelodeon in the U.S.

Dude From "Mad Men" by Clayton Johnston

I've never seen Mad Men. I think this is the boss. Any way, I like the actor. I had fun using my brush pen for this.

Space Ghost by Clayton Johnston

I was too young to experience the original Space Ghost, designed by the awesome Alex Toth. I first saw him back when Cartoon Planet came on TBS. That's when I fell in love. I even bought the Joe Kelly written miniseries that was a somewhat gritty reboot.

Hanna-Barbera On The Grass by Jess Kirby

I was really hoping to get more time to finish this up, but crap happens, so here it is.  If you're not familiar with the original Manet painting that I used for inspiration, here's a link http://www.manetedouard.org/Luncheon-on-the-Grass.html

Mad Men

I'll admit, I don't watch Mad Men, so I don't know much about it. I went through and found a girl who I thought looked like my biatch, Lorna Queen of the Jungle. This is who I found and this is who I drew. No idea who she is, what she does, but here she is.

80's Cartoons

Of course I couldn't decide on just one character, so here they are.
Not super happy about how a couple of them turned out, but that's what I get for watching cartoons while I draw cartoon characters. This is all done in ink on recycled Bristol.
